Funded by the Premier League Charitable Fund (PLCF), the Premier League Professional Footballers’ Association Community Fund (PL PFA) and other local and national funders, our activities include education, community, and football development opportunities for individuals, groups and communities across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland.
To help positively engage our diverse communities, we continue to grow our staff team through six core values – we engage, inspire, and empower through togetherness, respect, and pride.
Their health and wellbeing team deliver activities aimed at adults from 18 years, through to 50-plus and much older. Activities are varied and support adults to achieve the following outcomes:
Matt has worked for LCitC since 2016 as Community Manager, with over 20 years experience working for 3 different football clubs and proud of the roles they play in their local community. Outside of work I’m involved in adult and junior grassroots football and still enjoy playing the beautiful game when fit.
Mez has worked for Leicester City in the Community since January 2020 as Health and Wellbeing Coordinator. Mez has a wide-ranging background in Health, Fitness and Sport, he currently coordinates the health interventions and programmes at LCitC.
Kyle has worked for Leicester City in the Community since August 2021 as a Community Coach. Kyle has a background in football coaching since 2011 having begun at grassroots level. He currently leads the delivery of a variety of projects in one of the targeted areas of work in Leicester.
